Commemorative
Historical Society Events

The CHS
will be adding another battle site in 2016. More information to follow soon.
Once the site confirmed, that location will be added into the schedule. This
addition will give us more variations from event to event. As always, our dates
will not change once posted unless an emergent issue comes up. Only the
locations are subject to change. Any location changes will be posted far in
advance. We are always actively looking into new locations for our events. The
CHS dates below are now set and locked for 2016. We will add dates to other
clubs events below once we get them. Hope to see you all on the battle field.

Directions to Foresthill Event site:
Make your
way to scenic Auburn California which is on I-80 about 30 miles east of
Sacramento.
Just a few
miles east of Auburn, look for the "Foresthill" exit and take that
and go right at light (if coming from
the
East, go left). You should be traveling eastbound on Foresthill Road.
Go through
the traffic light and downhill.
Soon you
will cross over the Foresthill Bridge, the highest bridge in California and the
THIRD highest in the
world
(or so they say--it was in one of the "XXX" movies).
Now, you
will go about 15 miles or so into the town of Foresthill, don't blink or you
will miss it.
Four miles
or so past town is Finning Mill Rd on the left. It is a gravel/dirt road. That
was the entrance to the OLD
battle
site. DO NOT TURN!
From
Fining Mill Road continue traveling on Foresthill Road 10 more miles until you
see a dirt road on the right.
There should be an MCA sign there. Take that
dirt road for a few miles until you find the area used for camping.
The
actual battle area is a mile or so past the camping area.
November 4-6: (Scenario pending) Ost front
at Twin Sisters Gun Club
December (dates): Camp Rilea
Washington/Oregon event (usually the first or second weekend of the month)
